Jennifer Hill Booker, Chef, Author and Food Advocate

Jennifer Hill Booker weaves her love of traditional Southern cuisine with her belief in incorporating healthy, seasonal foods from her classic French training. She’s created a unique style of cooking that she terms, “Modern Southern Healthy Cuisine with a French Accent.”

One thing we love about Jennifer is the way she brings activism to her cooking. She served on the James Beard Foundation’s Food Waste Council, is currently one of their Impact Fellows. She is the Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion of the prestigious Atlanta chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, is a member of SlowFood-Atlanta and of Atlanta’s No Kid Hungry Atlanta Society. She also sits on the James Beard Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Jennifer truly understands the many ways food ties in to justice work, and we always get excited when she shares her time and talents with DIG.

Sweet Harvest Party Box recipients will get an opportunity to try out one of of Jennifer’s infamous spice mixes to weave into a delicious DIG party dish.
